You Can Now Login To Yahoo Mail Without A Password

In pursuit of transformation or rather, ease of use, Yahoo has just revamped their email application. They introduced a new feature called Yahoo Account Key. How does this work? It basically links your account to a mobile phone. From there, you’ll be notified through push notifications to approve any new login.

Your Yahoo account is linked to a mobile device, like a smartphone. When you attempt to login from a PC, Yahoo automatically discerns that you’ve already attached your account to a mobile phone. It then send a push notification to your device, through which you can approve or deny the login.

The app itself is generally easier to use and faster. There’s also added support for other email accounts like Outlook, Hotmail, and AOL. (No Gmail for now.)

That’s not all, the new app connects to your social networks, and grabs current pictures of your contacts. This is shown alongside your messages. Another new feature is the ability to swipe away messages for deleting or marking as unread.
