LG To announce 4G enabled smartwatch at MWC 2015
LG is said to be working on a G watch R successor, according to a latest report from Business Korea. The G Watch R successor will be company’s first smartwatch to come with
4G.
The smartwatch is expected to be announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 and will likely compete with Samsung Gear S that supports 3G connectivity. Details about the G Watch R successor are scarce as of now. LG announced the G Watch R in September and launched it in October and hence the announcement of a successor is bit surprising.
LG is also believed to be working on a smart stylus accessory called the ‘G Pen’ for release alongside its next flagship. MWC begins on March 2, 2015, and the G Watch R successor will be one of LG’s major announcements.
